This staff meeting will support teachers in exploring the writing process and purposeful writing across EYFS to Upper KS2. With three focused videos and short reflective tasks, such as writing from a pupil’s perspective, teachers will gain practical strategies and creative resources to build confident, motivated writers in every classroom. The session will also delve into the expectations of the new writing framework, ensuring staff understand key changes and how to embed them effectively in daily practice.
Please note that the ‘WATCH’ section is longer for this particular staff meeting – 40 minutes. Since it covers a core subject and includes four tasks, the duration is extended.

Really enjoyable session that allowed our group to look specifically at changes in outcomes and practices which in turn will benefit all children and teachers. This approach helped with my workload. It was extremely useful to split off into key stages and learn about our specific key stage objectives. I would recommend this unique approach to staff meetings to other schools!
Exploring the Writing Process was a great staff meeting! It was informative, interactive and concise and gave opportunities for collaboration. This really helped staff, giving them quality CPD and helped my workload as lead.
