Although the benchmarks are non-statutory, enrichment is an important area of focus within the Ofsted inspection framework, with consideration given to whether:

“Pupils have a range of suitable opportunities that broaden their experiences and enable them to develop their talents and interests in areas such as the arts, music and sport.”

The recording is just 23 minutes long, making it easy to fit into a busy leadership schedule or use as part of an SLT meeting.

The course will help leaders reflect on their current enrichment offer, identify strengths and gaps, and consider practical next steps to ensure all pupils have access to a broad range of meaningful opportunities.
