What is the KS1 Computing Unplugged – Logical thinking and pattern resource?
This unplugged resource is designed to support KS1 computing without devices. These hands-on activities build strong foundations in computational thinking in a fun and accessible way.
How can the resources be used?
This resource can be used to develop logical thinking and reasoning skills in Key Stage 1 Computing through unplugged activities. Children identify the object that does not belong within each set and explain their reasoning, helping them to recognise patterns, compare similarities and differences, and justify their ideas using clear language. The activity also supports discussion, problem-solving, and early computational thinking skills in an engaging and accessible way.
