What is the KS1 The Crying Camel Story and Comprehension Task resource?
The story appears in the Hadith, which are collections of sayings and events from the life of Prophet Muhammad. It is a great way to support children’s understanding of religious stories in Religious Education.
How can the resources be used?
This PDF can be used to create cross-curricular links with English. The story can be shared during RE lessons, and children can practise their comprehension skills by answering questions about the text. This allows them to meet RE learning objective, by becoming familiar with an important religious story, while also developing their reading and understanding skills.
