What is included in the Music Vocabulary Fans pack?

This pack contains a set of Music Vocabulary Fans featuring terms taken from the Model Music Curriculum and designed for use in Year 4. These fans help strengthen children’s understanding of technical musical terms and provide valuable opportunities to develop their oracy skills.

How can the Music Vocabulary Fans pack be used?

• Select the appropriate vocabulary for Year 4 based on your music curriculum
• Each page contains four teardrop shapes, arranged in connected pairs
• The pairs should be cut out and glued together, then laminated for durability
• The black dot at the bottom of each teardrop indicates where to create a hole so that a split pin can be inserted
• This allows the fans to rotate and be used effectively
• There is also a spare teardrop included so you can add any additional musical vocabulary of your choice
