What is included in The Egyptians Pack?
This engaging and informative resource pack features a detailed PowerPoint presentation exploring the key events and developments of Ancient Egypt, from around 3100 BC to 30 BC, specifically designed for Key Stage 2 pupils.
The child-friendly slides introduce pupils to important aspects of Ancient Egyptian history and everyday life, including the unification of Egypt, the building of the pyramids, the importance of the River Nile, hieroglyphic writing and the growth of the Egyptian Empire. Pupils will also learn about significant pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, before exploring how Ancient Egypt eventually came under Roman rule.
In addition, the pack includes a set of sequencing cards and a printable timeline activity. These hands-on resources allow children to place important Eygptian events in chronological order, helping them visualise how history unfolds over time. This interactive element strengthens comprehension, reinforces prior learning, and encourages collaborative discussion as pupils justify their choices and reflect on historical cause and effect.
