Although explicit vocabulary is not included within the booklet itself, there are rich opportunities for oracy, discussion and purposeful questioning throughout the unit. This allows key D&T terminology to be introduced, explored and reinforced naturally as pupils develop their knowledge and understanding.

Key vocabulary is clearly identified within the accompanying D&T plans, supporting consistent and meaningful use of subject-specific language throughout the learning journey.
